LOUISE MCDONNELL

Principal Physiotherapist

It is Louise’s passion seeing her clients be back to their healthy, happy selves after sustaining an injury or a painful condition that is the driving force behind New Farm Physiotherapy. Lou combines her years of private clinic and public hospital experience with a positive, informative and comfortable clinic environment. This is to ensure each patient feels supported and understood – as well as achieving solid, measurable results.

Lou provides a mix of hands on manual therapy, advice and information regarding pain and injury management and prevention,  as well as exercise therapy including Pilate’s inspired rehab.  Lou understands that her clients can be time poor and offers practical ways of combining rehab into every day activities to help speed up recovery, to help maintain and prevent injuries so her clients can return to doing what they love to do.

Lou feels privileged to call Brisbane home for the past 14 years, after moving from Ireland. She enjoys spending her weekends by the water – camping at the beach, stand-up paddle boarding, reading and enjoying the relaxed environment. She’s also an avid dancer and has even been in a flash mob in the middle of Southbank!
